Xtava Satin 5 in 1 Curling Wand Review & GIVEAWAY

Xtava Satin 5 in 1 Curling Wand

Today’s post is reviewing the Xtava Satin 5 in 1 Curling Wand. Having quite flat hair I have been enjoying having a bit of a curl or wave in my hair recently. It makes it look thicker and adds volume. I had not heard of the Xtava brand before so was intrigued to the quality of the product and the effect the Xtava Satin Curling Wand had on my hair. Make sure you check out the giveaway at the end of the post.

The Xtava Satin 5 in 1 Curling Wand comes packaged in a lovely hard cardboard box, really classy looking which I didn’t expect as curling wands are often just thrown into a bit of cardboard packaging with a clear plastic window. There is also a heat proof zip up carry bag included which I was so impressed with. Even my expensive GHDs did not come with a heat proof bag. This is perfect for traveling. It also comes with a small black heat proof glove.

Product:

The wand is excellent quality with a heat adjustment switch allowing you to change the heat level depending on your hair. As my hair is quite fine I tend to only go up to about 160-180 C. There is a good variety of sizes suitable for a large range of curl finishes. Xtava Satin 5 in 1 Curling Wand

Application:

To use the Xtava Satin 5 in 1 Curling Wand, you push the chosen barrel into the handle and turn the middle to lock it in place. This is a bit fiddly but locks well and doesn’t move once in place. The barrels with a clip have a small stand on too which is really helpful when heating the wand up. I have been using the 2nd largest barrel on my own hair as I like more of a beach wave than a curl. It heats up quickly and was ready to use after about 30 seconds or so. I curled my hair around the barrel and held each section for about 15 seconds. I then just let the curl drop to create a looser curl. The curling wand created nice wavy curls in my hair and looked great. I applied a bit of texture spray and a touch of hairspray. The curls stayed in throughout the day with little drop. Xtava Satin 5 in 1 Curling Wand I also used the small curing wand barrel on my daughter’s friend at a pamper party. She had very long hair that was quite thick. As you can see it looked amazing and was stil super curly the next day. Xtava Satin 5 in 1 Curling Wand

My Overall Verdict:

I was really impressed with the Xtava Satin 5 in 1 Curling Wand. The removable barrels give you a great choice for different curls. This saves you having lots of different tongs and wands. They heat up really quickly and automatically switch off which is a great safety feature. I also love the travel heatproof bag. The quality of the wand is excellent and creates gorgeous curls that last. The Xtava Satin 5 in 1 Curling Wand is only £21.99 at the moment with free delivery on www.amazon.com. So great value for the price!
