I am a HUGE fan of Sam & Nic Chapman. They are sisters who have just taken the online beauty world by storm. They started as makeup artists, now they are the founders of Real Techniques makeup brushes – some of the best brushes around and owned by everyone. They run a fantastic YouTube channel and collection of social media sites and everyone wants a piece of them. They have been inspiring me for many many years. They are the people who really got me into beauty blogging. They are honest down to earth British women who’s reviews are honest and genuine. For this reason Estée Lauder have teamed up with them to create an AMAZING beauty edit box. Furthermore, 10% from the sale of each box will be donated to Breast Cancer Haven and Look Good Feel Better, charity partners of The Estée Lauder Companies UK. Enjoy my review…
Inside the box are:
Estée Lauder Sumptuous Rebel Length + Lift Mascara, 2.8ml – This is a lovely black mascara. It doesn’t stick or clump.
Clinique Take The Day Off™ Makeup Remover For Lids, Lashes & Lips, 30ml – This is a nice gentle makeup remover. It clears all traces of makeup and does not make the skin oily.
M·A·C Mini M·A·C Strobe Cream, 30ml – This is one of my favourite products and has been for many years so I was super excited to see it in the box. This version has a pink tint which is really nice and softer on the skin. I use this as a base under my MAC Studio Fix Powder and I wear these every day. The Strobe Cream makes my skin glow and keeps it hydrated.
Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color, Ruby, 2.25g – This is a lovely colour and texture. It is well pigmented and lasts a long time. A lovely colour for Autumn and Christmas.
Bobbi Brown Bronzing Powder, Golden Light, 2.25g – This is a lovely bronzer. It has a smooth texture and is not too pigmented which I prefer. It allows you to build it up to suit your skin tone.
Bumble and bumble Thickening Dryspun Texture Spray, 60ml – This is a good texture spray that adds volume to your roots and doesn’t leave too much of a rough texture to the hair.
Glamglow Oxygenating Deep Cleanse Mask – I loved this mask. It made my face feel really smooth and hydrated afterwards,
Real Techniques® Rebel Edge™ Fine Brush – This is a great brush. I can’t believe I did not have it already as I love Real Technique brushes. It is a small fan brush at a 45 degree angle. It is perfect for adding a dark eyeshadow to the side of your eye to create a flick. I have used it a lot since buying this box.
Smashbox Cover Shot Eye Palette, Ablaze, 6.2g – I have left this till last to allow me to go into detail about it. In a nutshell I love this pallette. I am a big fan of these handy Smahbox palettes. They are sturdy, packed with lovely colours and come with a great mirror. They are perfect for traveling. I have been using this palette nearly every day since I had it and I have created many different looks. It is just so versatile. The colours are gorgeous. They are well pigmented and blend well. This is also a full size palette and costs £25. Which is amazing as this whole beauty box is only £28!!
This is just a fantastic box. I love all of the products. For £28.00 too it is such a good buy. The products are worth a lot more when bought separately. I really feel that Sam and Nic have taken time to select these products. They all compliment each other both with the colours and the type of product. This would make a perfect Christmas present.
