Whilst on a Revolution shopping trip a few months back I came across this eye primer and thought at £2.50 I would give it a try. I have quite oily eye lids and eye shadow can crease on my eyes, especially cream shadows. I never really use eyelid primers and wondered whether they were just another product that I could easily go without. I usually just add concealer and powder to my eyes as a primer. So I was keen to see how this performed.
- Easily to apply with the applicator
- Available in 3 shades: Original, Brighten and Matte
- Ensures your eye shadow lasts all day and doesn’t crease
I applied the primer to my eyes using the doe foot applicator. I like this type of applicator as I feel you can use it easily. I then used a brush to blend it into my eyelid and up to my brow. It is quite a light colour but it blended in fine. I then applied my NYX loose powder to set the primer. I applied my matte powder eye shadow over the top. The primer created a nice neutral base for my shadows which was good and they applied fine over the top. My makeup did not crease and stayed in place throughout the day. If I am honest it was the same as using my concealer, but at £2.50 it is a lot cheaper than my concealer so is definitely a good choice for my eyes.
