{save} Skincare Review

I was sent some skincare products from {save} to try. {save} are a natural skin care company who produce skincare products that are simple, using natural resources without unnecessary additives and chemicals. Their aim is to create clean beauty products that protect your skin using gentle formulations. All products are also vegan and cruelty free.

My skin has changed recently following my use of tretinoin. It is very dry and can be quite sore, so the main thing for me with my skincare products is hydration and products that add life to my skin and make it glow. I have now been using them for the past few weeks and feel I can give an honest opinion about them. Enjoy my review…

Firstly, my products arrived in a lovely package which I think is really important when you are treating yourself to beauty products. I really felt the brand want to make sure the buyer is happy. Inside there were three products, all boxed and packaged nicely.

Rejuvenating Moisturiser

Claims:
  • help your skin take a deep breath and bring out your glow
  • strengthen its natural protective barrier thanks to probiotics
  • improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • nourish and rejuvenate your skin
  • made with nearly 100%* nature-derived an no parabens, SLS, mineral oils, essential oils, dimethicone, alcohol or colorants included in the ingredients
  • fragrance free
  • suitable for sensitive skin
  • will soothe and prevent any inflammation, irritation and reduce redness
My Verdict:

I have been using this at night following my cleanse and tretinoin. It is a creamy light formula that absorbs well into the skin. There is a light fresh smell but is very mild. This is a lovely moisturiser. I apply two pumps and that is enough for my face and neck. You could apply it in the morning too its just I prefer to add a SPF instead of a moisturiser in the day. It leaves my skin feeling really refreshed and hydrated. It soothes my skin and reduces any redness. It does not leave any oily residue. I think this would be suitable for any type of skin. I like the bottle. It is plastic so can be recycled and has a pump top so you can get just enough out with each application.

Anti-pollution Sleeping Mask

Claims:
  • repair your skin barrier and help reduce the signs of damaging effects from the environment
  • gently exfoliate your skin and remove dead skin cells
  • hydrate it and lock the moisture in
  • for you to wake up with glowy complexion!
  • Prevents early photo-ageing
My Verdict:

This is my favourite of the {save} products. I am loving this night mask. As mentioned above my skin is really dry at the moment and this is just the perfect product for it. I apply two pumps and massage it into my face and neck. It absorbs into the skin well. My skin instantly feels fresh and hydrated. When I wake in the morning my skin still feels lovely and looks refreshed and glowing. I have actually been using it every few nights. I am going to try the Anti-pollution Vit C Booster as they recommend it will work well with the sleeping mask.

Soothing Sheet Mask

Claims:
  • 100% innovative hypo-allergenic
  • Soothes and cools down irritations caused by environmental stressors, extensive skincare routine or cosmetic and aesthetic treatments
  • Strengthens your natural skin barrier
  • Provides you instant cooling effect and immediate relief.
My Verdict:

I applied the mask after cleansing and removing all my makeup. It applies nicely although you have to remember to remove the outer cover on each side of the mask. I hadn’t realised there was two and it was a bit stiff to apply. Then I realised!! It applies easily and sits on skin nicely. It is cooling and relaxing. I left it for 20 minutes and then peeled it off. It comes off easily with no mess or oily left behind. My skin was glowing and looked healthy afterwards. I did, however, find this did not fully hydrate my skin as I have very dry skin at the moment. If you have oily or combination skin this would be perfect for you as it does not leave your skin oily or greasy after using.

I have been impressed with the skincare products from {save}. I think they are sensitive and soothing on my skin and they all made my skin look and feel good after use. The packaging is effective and makes it easy to apply products. I like how they are vegan, cruelty free and do not have lots of nasty chemicals in. As mentioned in my post, my favourite is the Anti-Pollution Sleeping Mask. You can view all {save} skincare products on their website here.
