L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream Review

Whilst on a recent shopping trip I treated myself to some of L’Occitane’s Shea Butter Hand Cream. I have heard many people rave about L’Occitane products but had never tried any, as they are quite pricey. I picked the Shea butter as I often have dry hands and felt this would be the best one for me.

Available from: http://uk.loccitane.com
£15.00 for 75ml

Firstly the packaging is just so cool I love the big silver tube and it makes it really easy to get the product out. As it empties you can just start to roll the bottom up to make sure you get every last bit out.

They claim:
The cream is enriched with 20% Shea Butter which penetrates quickly to protect, nourish and moisturise hands. It is rapidly absorbed to leave the hands soft and smooth with no oily traces.

My Verdict:
The cream is very thick and takes a while to rub in, however it leaves my hands very soft and as stated there are no oily traces. The smell is really nice and lingers on the hand for a while which I like. My hands stay soft all day too. I have been applying it morning and night.

I really love this hand cream. It is quite expensive for a hand cream at £15, but the tube will last a long time. I feel like my hands have had a real treat too when I apply it. I have also now tried the shower gel too which is lovely.
