I have been loving reading posts about what bloggers have in their makeup bag so thought I would join the band wagon and post about the products I have in my makeup bag.
There are lots of products in my makeup bag. I don’t necessarily use all the products in my makeup bag every day, for example I love my liquid eyeliner but don’t have time to apply it every day, but I still keep them in so they are there when I need them. I thought I would list them in the order I use them.
Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Primer
£7.99 from Feelunique*
I love this primer. It is a silicon based primer that I apply to my t-zone. I have combination skin so only apply it in the greasy areas. I apply it by dabbing it into my skin with my fingers. It really helps my makeup sit better and helps it last all day. I think this is an excellent price too.
Urban Decay Naked Skin Corrector in Peach
£19.00 from Feelunique*
This is a great product. You can find a detailed review here, Naked skin colour corrector. I apply this under my eyes to minimise the dark circles. I find it works better when applied under my foundation. I apply it using an ELF concealer brush.
Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen WOW Foundation
£29.00 from Benefit*
I have been enjoying this medium weight foundation recently. You can see a full review here, Benefit Hello Flawless Foundation. It leaves a light dewy finish, perfect for the summer months. I apply it using a Kabuki brush and buff it into my skin. It lasts well throughout the day. I have lots of foundations but this is the one that I always have in my makeup bag.
Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Eraser Eye Concealer
£7.99 from Feelunique*
I have used this product for the past 18 months. It is a really good concealer. It covers well but is light on the skin. It doesn’t sit in my fine lines. I apply it with the ELF Concealer Brush.
Bourjois Healthy Balanced Pressed Powder
£8.99 form www.superdrug.com
I have a couple of pressed powders but I always come back to this one. I find it applies lovely over my foundation. It leaves a light finish and helps keep my foundation set throughout the day. I apply it with a Real Techniques contour brush.
The Balm Bahama Mama Bronzer
£17.50 from Feelunique*
This is a nice matt bronzer. The shade is perfect for me. I have a full review on it here; Bahama Mama Bronzer. I apply it with a Real Techniques Blush brush which is a nice soft large brush. I apply it to my cheeks, forehead and contour slightly in the hollows of my cheeks.
Benefit Rockateur Blush
£24.50 from Benefit*
I love Benefit blushers. They are a bit expensive but I love the colour payoff and they last all day. This is a rose gold blush that applies a nice flush of colour to my cheeks. As always the packaging is gorgeous!
Benefit Dandelion Shy Beam Liquid Highlighter
£21.50 from Benefit*
This is a lovely pink nude matt low key highlighter. It really lights up your skin without leaving it super shimmery. I dab it onto my cheekbones, up my nose and on my forehead and blend it in with my ELF Concealer brush.
Too Faced Sweet Peach Glow Palette
£34.00 from www.toofaced.com
I have recently bought this product and apply it some days instead of my usual blusher and highlighter. I have a full review here, Sweet Peach Glow Palette. I take this with me when I travel as it is all in one palette. I still apply my Bahama Mama bronzer as the bronzer in the palette is quite subtle. So, I apply it over my bronzer to add a nice glow. I apply it with a Real Techniques Blush.
Anastasia Brow Wiz
£15.50 from www.cultbeauty.com
I have used this brow pencil for the past 12 months. I apply it using short strokes into my brows to fill the gaps and thicken them up. It is quite subtle and makes the brows look natural. There is a spooly brush on the end which I use to brush the brows through afterwards.
Benefit Gimme Brow
£20.00 from Benefit*
This is a must have product for me. I always apply this even if I am having a low-key makeup day. It is so simple to use and makes the brows look thicker. I either apply it on its own or over my Anastasia Brow Wiz to set it. I use a spooly brush to finish off.
Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette
£39.00 from www.toofaced.com
This has been my favourite eyeshadow palette for the past few months. I have used it every day. I have a full review here, Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette. It has a excellent collection of colours for day and night time looks. They have good pigmentation and blend easily. The palette also smells gorgeous.
Rimmel Glam’eyes Liquid Eyeliner
£5.29 from www.superdrug.com
This is really the only liquid eyeliner I use. I have a full review on it here, Glam’eyes Liquid Eyeliner. It is so easy to use and make the perfect cat eye flick. It has good pigmentation and lasts all day.
Essence Lash Princess False Effect Mascara
£3.30 from Wilko
This is a mascara I have been using and loving. I reviewed it in a recent post you can find the full review her, Battle of the Mascaras. I think it adds good colour, applies well and really makes the lashes look great. All for £3.30 which is an amazing price.
MUA Lipstick in shade 11
£1.00 from www.superdrug.com
I always have this lipstick in my makeup and hand bag. It is the perfect low-key colour for me and can be worn day or night. It has a lovely creamy texture. I have a full review on it here, MUA lipstick.
£1.95 from www.superdrug.com
I apply Vaseline throughout the day to keep my lips moist.
I hope you enjoyed this review. I trial other products with my blog but these are the products that I like and return too on a daily basis.
