St Tropez Gradual Tan Tinted Body Lotion Review

ST Tropez Gradual Tan Tinted Body Lotion

As we have been enjoying a rare heat wave here in the UK I thought it would be the perfect time to post about a fab tinted moisturiser I have been using. I am not a self-tan type of person. The reality being I am just rubbish at applying it and it always looks so fake on me. I find it easier just to put up with my natural skin colour rather than having patchy shades of orange skin!

I received the St. Tropez Gradual Tan Tinted Body Lotion as a freebie on a magazine many months back. I thought I would give it a try one morning. So, I thought I would share my review with you as I know many of you are the same and find the thought of false tanning a daunting prospect.

  • Gives an instant hint of bronze that illuminates the skin
  • Creates a healthy sun kissed glow
  • Lightweight and ultra-hydrating
  • Easy to apply, quick drying with even fade
  • Suitable for any skin tone
  • Instant skin perfecting coverage to blur imperfections
  • No self-tan smell, with our new mood-boosting fragrance

I applied it just as a normal moisturiser after my shower. I used my hands to gently rub t in to my legs paying extra attention to blend it into my heels and feet as key tend to be the key give away areas when applying fake tan of any kind.

After an hour or so I looked down and was super impressed by my lovely glowing tanned legs. The colour was natural and not too dark. Furthermore, there was no smudges or patchy areas. It made my legs look really good. It lasted well and was still showing after many days. It then gently faded without me noticing. I have since bought the larger size and use it about once a week.

I think it is excellent gradual tan product and would happily recommend it. It lives up to all the claims, although, I still felt it had that slight self-tan smell but as the results are so good I can put up with the smell as it only lasts for a short while. The tube is a good size and lasts well and it is available at most drugstores or high street chemists too. It is currently £9.19 on offer at Superdrug

I hope you enjoyed my post. Let me know in the comments box any products you recommend or if you have tried this tanning lotion too.
