e.l.f BEAUTIFULLY BARE NATURAL GLOW FACE PALETTE REVIEW

Today’s post is a review of the e.l.f Beautifully Bare Natural Glow Face Palette. I have used Benefit Hoola bronzer for years now and have been looking for a good bronzer to replace it that was a bit cheaper. I bought this e.l.f Face Palette on a whim really as it just looked so lovely on the internet. I have since done a bit of research and read mixed reviews so I thought I would let you all have my honest opinion in today’s review post.

ELF Beautifully Natural Glow Face Palette

The Palette:

ELF Beautifully Natural Glow Face Palette

This palette has a great collection of products included, all matching in colour tone and shade. It contains a bronzer, a highlighter and two coral based blushes. The packaging is gorgeous. It is cased in a hard mirror style shiny box with a big mirror inside. Excellent quality for a £9 product. I am really impressed with the packaging.

Claims:

  • Lightweight formulas are easy to blend to help you achieve a natural flawless look

After watching and reading a few reviews I presumed this palette did not very good colour pay off as everyone had said it has little pigmentation but is buildable. So, I got a brush and added quite a bit of bronzer then applied it to my cheeks. OMG, I was very wrong. The pigmentation was fine and I ended up adding far too much and looking like I hadn’t washed in a week!! So, my 2nd attempt was more successful. I use a big fluffy powder brush and apply ‘a small amount’ of bronzer to my temples and the hollows of my cheeks. The colour is a nice shade not too orangey or too dull. It is buildable and blends in well. It gives your face a natural look. Perfect for every day. The blushes are nice. The darker one works best on my skin. It is a lovely colour and blends well. It reminds me of Benefit’s Coralista blush. The lighter one is a bit too light for my skin tone, but again it is buildable. The highlighter is again very subtle, but I prefer that. I’m not a big fan of strong highlighters on my skin. It is a pinky champagne colour and would work well on most skin tones.

Verdict:

I really like this palette. The colours are great and complement each other. They have great pigmentation and can be built up for a stronger look. I love the packaging and think it is perfect for taking away as it is compact and has three elements of your makeup routine in there. They last well throughout the day and blend really easily too. I often find e.l.f products hit or miss but this palette is fab. For £9.00 it is such great value. It would make a lovely gift too.

  1. I love the colours in this pallet! They are so lovely and it’s good that you found they were pigmented, I have seen some reviews where that wasn’t the case for people so it’s good to know that it may not be the case for everyone. I’m in the market for a new pallet so will have to give this one a try.
