I have recently ordered some of the Ordinary products. I have read so many great reviews about the skincare products and I was excited to try them. I will be doing a full review of all the skincare products I bought in a few months. I like to try the products for a while to get a full idea of the effects and my build my opinion. However, I also bought the High-Adherance Silcone Primer and could see instant effects with this so thought I would share my review for this today.
£4.00 for 30ml from Beauty Bay
A lightweight serum-like primer that prepares skin for the application of makeup.
- Smoothing serum
- Mattifies and hydrates skin
- Blurs pores
- Helps make up glide on and foundation adhere to skin for longer
- Can also be used as a light non-oily surface hydrator for no makeup days.
- Leaves a natural dewy finish
I apply a pea sized blob to my palms and smooth it into my skin. It is very creamy and absorbs into the skin easily. It feels like a moisturiser. It does not feel really silicone based which is good. I allow it to dry for a few minutes before applying my foundation.
Okay, in simple words I LOVE THIS PRIMER! It is fantastic. I always wear primer under my foundation as I feel it makes a great base and helps the foundation stay in place all day and this one does exactly that. When I read the claims it absolutely hits them all. It mattifies but doesn’t dehydrate my skin. It leaves a slight dewy finish but not oily. It blurs my pores and makes my skin feel smooth. My foundation, powder and liquid, applies lovely and stays in place all day. Even though my skin can be dry in areas I do get an oily T-zone and throughout the day my skin can often look a bit oily in this area, but with this primer it shows no oil all day.
What amazes me the most is the prize of this product. It is only £4.00 for 30ml You can buy it from Beauty Bay. The tube is a good size and you only need a little bit of it as it spreads well across the face. So, the tube will last a while. If you are someone who wears a primer you have got to get this. Let me know your thoughts in the comments when you try it or of any other primers you love.
Thanks for reading!
