November Birchbox Review

November Birchbox

I am a big fan of Birchbox beauty boxes so I was excited to be gifted the November box by Birchbox this month. Enjoy my review…

This month’s Birchbox teamed up with Frozen to promote adventurous, strong women and the importance of friendship. The box has a Frozen image on and was soon spotted by my daughter who now has it as a storage box in her bedroom. Inside there are 5 products, 2 are full size and 2 are Birchbox exclusives.

Rouge Gourmand in Gingerbread by Lisa Waiter
Trail size – Full size RRP: £23.00

This is a really creamy hydrating lipstick that applies well. It has good pigmentation. It is a subtle nude shade that is perfect for every day. I had not heard of this brand so it was good to try something new. This is one of the reasons I like Birchbox, it is a great opportunity to try something new.

Lip Pencil in Timber by Bodyography
Full size RRP: £11.00

This is a creamy lip pencil that applies well. The shade is a perfect match for the lipstick in the box. it contains coconut oil and vitamin E so does not dry out your lips.

Sparkle Like A Unicorn Illuminating Sheet Mask by INC.redible
Full size RRP: £5.00

This is a sheet mask containing mulberry, lemon and green tea extracts. It aims to brighten, lift dead skin and tighten pores. I have not used this as yet but love sheet masks so look forward to trying this.

Blue Lagoon Exfoliating Shower Gel by Blancréme
Trial size: Full size RRP: £8.55

This is a lovely refreshing scrub. It gently exfoliates the skin removing dead skin cells and cleanses your skin. It has a really fresh smell, lovely to use in the shower in the morning to wake you up.

The Do-It-All 3-in-1 Dry Texture Spray by SGX NYC
Trial Size. Full size RRP: £7.99

This is a handy sized texture spray that adds volume, dries oil and holds like a hairspray. It leaves your hair silky without stiffness. This works well, smell nice and does exactly what it promotes. I don’t really use texture spray so wouldn’t necessarily use this product myself. However, if you use texture spray you will like this product.

Overall, a good collection of products this month. I particularly like the lipstick and the shower gel. I would happily recommend Birchbox. It always has a good collection of products in each box with many full sized products. I think it is a great way to try new products and brands. Birchbox also sell the products on their website with discounts too so it gives you the opportunity to buy the products afterwards. It is excellent value at only £10.00 + £2.95 P&P. The products inside always add up to a lot more.

I hope you enjoyed my post. I hope you found this review helpful. I would love for you to subscribe to my blog so you don’t miss out on any exciting beauty and skincare posts. You can also follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.
