June’s Favourite 5

June's Favourite 5 main image

Hi everyone, it’s that time of the month again. Today’s post is all about the 5 products I have been enjoying using in June. I have been focusing in my skincare recently as working from home has allowed me to reduce the amount of makeup I wear. I have only been wearing makeup when I have video calls. This has allowed me to wear light makeup to give a natural look that emphasizes my skin rather than piling makeup on for night outs and such.

JEJU DAILY AM/PM MULTI-PHASE PURIFYING CLEANSING MILK

£11.40 for 190ml from Beauty Pie (monthly subscription required) Beauty Pie Jeju Cleansing milk This was featured on my Favourite Cleansers post a few weeks back. I am in love with this cleanser. I look forward to using it. It is a creamy consistency that when applied turns to an oil like to balm it then turns in to a milky cleanser when. you add water. It is refreshing, cleanses well, and feels very lightweight on my skin. You can read my full review here.

Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask

£18.00 for 100ml from The Body Shop The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask This is a charcoal face mask that draws out the impurities in your skin and refines your pores. I apply it to my face for 5 and 10 minutes whilst I am in the shower. It leaves my skin looking healthy and glowing. You can read a full review here.

Satsuma Shower Gel

£5.50 for 250ml from The Body Shop

The Body Shop satsuma shower gel

I have always been a big fan of the Body Shop shower gels and this one does not disappoint. This is a gorgeous soap-free refreshing shower gel. The orange smell is amazing. It lathers up well and leaves my skin smelling and feeling lovely.

Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer

£39.00 for 16g from Charlotte Tilbury Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush bronzer This was featured in last week’s post where I reviewed the new products from Charlotte Tilbury. I absolutely love her makeup products and was very excited to try this. I have been using this all the time since I bought it. It is fabulous. Very light on the skin and looks well blended and airbrushed when applied. I have the shade no 2 – Medium. It gives my skin a natural glow but can be built up for stronger colour. I have been adding this straight over my skincare for a natural look without wearing any foundation underneath. Just top it with a bit of mascara and brow gel. Perfect for Summer. Marcelle BB Cream Golden Glow Illuminator

£25.50 for 45ml from Birchbox

Marcelle Bb Cream Illuminator

I bought this at the end of last Summer after trying a sample in a Birchbox. I have not worn it over the Winter and had forgotten how gorgeous it was. It has been my absolute go-to over the past few months. I apply it after sunscreen instead of moisturiser. It seems quite thick at first but when buffed into my skin it feels lightweight and hydrating. It leaves a smooth, dewy finish that evens out skin tone and hides blemishes. It really makes my skin glow and look fresh. I always get compliments when I wear it about how healthy I look! I think it may be too illuminating for oily skin but is perfect for my dry/combination skin. I finish with a bit of concealer under my eyes, a bit of pressed powder down my T-zone and my Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Bronzer.
